A new dimension is going to be added to the digital environment of Vitesse. The football club from Arnhem has signed a contract for 2,5 years with Kemari, which starting this year will be able to call itself the official digital partner of Vitesse. As outstanding players on the digital playing field, the digital agency is going to start taking steps, together with the football club, in building up a community and creating more (online) experiences for its fans.



One of the things Kemari will work on is the realization of a new website for the club. will not only become more modern, more comprehensible and better looking, it will also put the supporters in the spotlight.


“We believe that we can get more out of our digital environment. In Kemari we have found a progressive partner that can make this a reality”, says commercial director Peter Rovers from Vitesse. “For our (sports) ambitions we need a digital environment that solidifies our brand and increases the immersion for our supporters. We are convinced that Kemari, together with our media team, will be able to create a digital world that Vitesse and its stakeholders can be proud of.” 


Rajiv van Wijk, digital director of Kemari, sees a mutual goal in the partnership. “We strive to create a digital environment in which good football and the nostalgia of the city of Arnhem and the club Vitesse will come together to create fans. We believe in Vitesse and their clear ambitions on a digital level. The club wants to set its next steps in a very innovative way, with the supporter as its main focus”, said Van Wijk. “I firmly believe that the experience for a fan isn’t just in the stadium, but already starts on the very first day of the week. Supporters follow everything as closely as possible and they want to be a part of what makes their club so beautiful. This is something we wish to realize with our digital innovations, which should also increase accessibility.”
